Earth Day Vigil Sponsored by the Defenders

Join us for an Earth Day Vigil on Tuesday, April 21, sponsored by Defenders of Dignity!

The Defenders of Dignity are sponsoring an Earth Day Vigil during their monthly Zoom meeting on the third Tuesday of the month, on April 21. Wednesday, April 22, is Earth Day. All DignityUSA members are welcome.

The theme of the celebration will be the role of LGBTQIA+ people in the Nature/Environmental Movement.  Many LGBTQIA+ folks are drawn to deep connections with Earth Mother from their early years. We will honor those who were/are shamans, pagans, witches, healers, two-spirit persons, transfolk, faeries, herbalists, artists, musicians, poets, writers, Eco-Feminists, farmers and environmental activists.  

We will gather beginning at 8:15pm ET/5:15pm PT with the Earth Day Vigil starting at 8:30pm ET (7:30pm CT/ 6:30 pm MT/ 5:30pm PT/ 2:30pm HT).
