Dignity/Washington Young Adults Host Mardi Gras Celebration

Dignity/Washington's young adult group hosted the third annual community celebration of Shrove Tuesday February 17. D/Washington members and friends of all ages were welcomed to the Dignity Center to enjoy pancakes drinks beads and a 50-50 raffle to send some young adults to the DignityUSA Convention in Seattle this summer. Making pancakes Shrove Tuesday day is an old English tradition in order to use up all fatty ingredients before fasting for Lent.

Roy Bourgeois Presented Public Lecture at Dignity/Washington

On Saturday February 28 Dignity/Washingtons Guest Speaker Series was proud to host Roy Bourgeois who presented on his Peace Justice and Equality Journeys at the Dignity Center.

Roy Bourgeois spent four years in the military and received a Purple Heart in Vietnam.
