<p>Fall is always a busy time for DignityUSA!&nbsp; Each October 1st is the beginning of the new fiscal year for Dignity with new members joining the Board of Directors. We welcome Marie Sweeney Sam Albano and Mary Donnelly in addition to a new president and vice president Lewis and Alice. The Board of Directors will meet October 2-4 in Buffalo NY. All are welcome to see the Board in action! In addition the Board will join in celebrating Dignity/Buffalo's anniversary.</p> <p>Philadelphia will be the city to be at the end of September. First is the Women Ordination Worldwide (WOW) Conference connecting Dignity members to the larger women ordination movement. The World Meeting of Families will be bringing Equally Blessed families for an exciting week to the City of Brotherly Love which will culminate in Pope Francis's visit.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>In order to do all the above we rely on you: members donors and friends who give freely of their time talent and treasure.&nbsp; We cannot do all we do without you.&nbsp; We are looking for individuals who have skills/talents to serve on national committees.&nbsp;&nbsp; Those skills/talents include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li> marketing and publicity</li> <li> communication and writing and editing for a publication</li> <li> non-profit law</li> <li> human resources and HR policies for non-profits</li> <li> fundraising and development</li> <li> finance</li> <li> convention and event planning</li> </ul> <p>If you would like more information or are willing to provide input in any of these areas please contact me lspeakstanner@gmail.com.</p>
