DignityUSA Membership Consultant (short-term contract position)
DignityUSA is a membership organization serving Catholic LGBTQIA+ people, our allies, families, and friends. The organization is currently seeking a consultant to review inaccuracies in our database, suggest improvements in our membership recruitment and retention processes and materials, and reach out to lapsed members to encourage their renewal.
This position is remote, flexible, and involves both daytime and evening hours.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties include:
• Review of current data to identify duplications and other inaccuracies
• Correct entries in database under supervision of the Director of Operations
• Review current membership recruitment and renewal materials and protocols
• Reach out to a segment of members who lapsed within the last two years to understand and document the reasons for nonrenewal
• Suggest and document improvements in membership processes and materials
• Make recommendations to DignityUSA Membership Committee and Board for improvements in membership recruitment, retention, and management processes.
This contract is expected to last 4-6 months and to require 10-15 hours per week. Consultant must be familiar with standard donor/membership database processes, and have excellent documentation and communication skills. DignityUSA uses NeonCRM, so familiarity with that database will be given priority.
REPORTING AND RELATIONSHIPS
The position reports to the Executive Director. The Consultant will work closely with the Director of Operations. There will also be interaction with members of DignityUSA’s Membership Committee, DignityUSA Members, and Chapter and Caucus leaders.
