<p>By now you&#39;re probably aware of the active national coalition called <a href=http://equallyblessed.org target=_blank>Equally Blessed</a> comprised of <a href=http://dignityusa.org>DignityUSA</a> <a href=http://newwaysministry.org target=_blank>New Ways Ministry</a> <a href=http://cta-usa.org target=_blank>Call To Action</a> and <a href=http://fortunatefamilies.org target=_blank>Fortunate Families</a>. Thanks in part to the productive status of this national coalition local chapters and members of the coalition are mobilizing together for action!&nbsp;</p> <p><a href=http://www.dignitytwincities.org/ target=_blank>Dignity/Twin Cities</a> Call To Action Minnesota and Minnesota-based Listening Parents from Fortunate Families are partnering to put on a retreat for Catholic parents of LGBT children. Based in part on Fortunate Families&#39; retreats with a few new twists the February retreat will feature some brief presentations mixed with attendee parents&#39; stories. The retreat will end with the regularly scheduled Dignity/Twin Cities Mass followed by a potluck put on by the partner organizations. Dignity/Twin Cities always follows up their liturgies with a potluck supper so this will be a great way to open wide the doors without upsetting regular rituals. We Dignity folk like our traditions!</p> <p>Look for other collaborations of this kind in the future. And if you&#39;re reading this. and aware of a local Call To Action chapter or the presence of Listening Parents or New Ways Ministry members in your area perhaps the Spirit is leading you to mobilize as well.
