An independent feature film called<em>&nbsp;Saints and Sinners</em>&nbsp;has been made about the wedding of Edward DeBonis and Vincent Maniscalco.&nbsp; Ed and Vinnie are members of&nbsp;<a target=_blank style=font-family: Verdana Arial Helvetica sans-serif; font-weight: bold; color: rgb(51 0 102); text-decoration: underline; href=http://www.dignityny.org/>Dignity/New York</a>&nbsp;and the first Catholic same-sex couple ever to have their union ceremony announced in<em>&nbsp;The New York Times.</em>The role of Dignity in their lives and in their wedding is prominently featured in the movie.</p> <!--break--> <p>Remarkably the film has been picked up for commercial distribution by Avatar Films and will premiere on June 18 in New York Los Angeles and San Francisco.&nbsp; The New York premiere will be at the Quad Cinema at 34 West 13th Street.&nbsp;The film will also be shown in Grand Rapids Michigan with a date to be determined.&nbsp; Other cities may be added if the film does well in the initial cities.<br /><br />In addition the film will be shown at the Boston LGBT film festival co-presented by&nbsp;<a target=_blank style=font-family: Verdana Arial Helvetica sans-serif; font-weight: bold; color: rgb(51 0 102); text-decoration: underline; href=http://www.dignityboston.org/>Dignity/Boston</a>&nbsp;and the&nbsp;<a target=_blank style=font-family: Verdana Arial Helvetica sans-serif; font-weight: bold; color: rgb(51 0 102); text-decoration: underline; href=http://www.hrc.org/>Human Rights Campaign</a> on May 15 just two days before same-sex civil weddings are scheduled to begin in Massachusetts.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />It will also be shown at the New Festival (New York LGBT Film Festival) sometime between June 3 and June 8 and on June 12 at 9:15 p.m. at the Human Rights Watch International Film Festival at Lincoln Center in New York.<br /><br />Dignity/New York may be participating in a formal way in the premiere at the Quad and/or the Human Rights Watch festival.&nbsp; More information will be posted as it is confirmed.<br /><br />For more information about the film visit&nbsp;<a style=font-family: Verdana Arial Helvetica sans-serif; font-weight: bold; color: rgb(0 0 102); text-decoration: none; href=http://www.avatarfilms.com/>www.avatarfilms.com</a>.
