<p>By Lourdes Rodriguez-Nogues DignityUSA President&nbsp;</p> <p><span style=line-height:1.6em>Yes you. We know that you have skills that </span>DignityUSA<span style=line-height:1.6em> can put to good use. Thus we are calling on anyone who feels called to serve as a member of the </span>DignityUSA<span style=line-height:1.6em> Board.</span></p> <p>Nominations are open for four Directors and our President/Vice President. These individuals will be elected by July 2015 and serve for a period of 2 years starting on October 1 2015.</p> <p>What qualifications do you need you might wonder. A few come to mind:</p> <ul> <li>Current regular member of DignityUSA (any individual who pays any required dues for regular membership and endorses the statement of position and purpose of DignityUSA.</li> <li>A desire to become more involved in the governance of the organization at the national level</li> <li>A desire to work alongside other dedicated individuals from different parts of the country to impact change in the service of equality for LGBT Catholics in the Church and society.</li> <li>A passion for the work of justice.</li> <li>A drive to develop DignityUSA programs have a voice on the use of adequate resources to carry out Dignity&rsquo;s work and set strategic priorities for our future</li> <li>A good sense of humor and a disposition to work/play with others will be helpful</li> </ul> <p><span style=line-height:1.6em>We are currently seeking leaders with organizational development marketing fundraising and human resources management skills and experience.</span></p> <p><span style=line-height:1.6em>Keep an eye on <em>Dateline</em> as we will continue to give you more information on the nomination and election process as we go forward.
