<img alt= src=/sites/default/files/logos/WashingtonDC.jpg style=width: 89px; height: 60px; float: right; margin: 5px; />We are very pleased to announce that the “Rainbow History Project” has selected Bob Miailovich as a “Community Pioneer” in recognition of his leadership and many years of service to the GLBT community which of course includes his roles as a past President and current and former Treasurer of Dignity/Washington. On Thursday October 4 The Rainbow History Project will be honoring 14 “Community Pioneers” including Bob at a 6:30 – 8:30 PM reception at the Thurgood Marshall Center (1816 – 12th Street NW). This event provides the LGBT community an opportunity to say thank you to these individuals who are being recognized for their instrumental roles in creating and sustaining the DC LGBT community’s most important institutions. The reception is free and open to the public. Visit the Rainbow History Project Community Pioneer page for more information.
