Today is Give Out Day

Dear friends,

Since 2013, thousands of people across the country come together each year and raise their voices for justice and inclusion with Give OUT Day, the national day of giving for the LGBTQI community. Every year, we’ve been blown away by the generous support of our community on this special day. Already, our friends and supporters have pledged hundreds of dollars in support of LGBTQI Catholics. You can join them. Give OUT Day is today! You can make your contribution now.

This year, it's especially important. During the COVID-19 pandemic, many of our local chapters have been unable to meet in-person and have encountered financial challenges. We want to ensure our nationwide network of LGBTQI Catholics is strong and connected during this period of uncertainty and isolation. When you give to “Sustaining Community” through Give OUT Day, a quarter of your donation will go directly to our local chapters facing hardship. Your donations will support our grassroots network providing affirming spiritual care and community to LGBTQI Catholics across the nation.

Your support allows us to mobilize as a national organization as well. In just this past week, we’ve responded to the news that the Archdiocese of Indianapolis would be implementing a new policy that would discriminate against transgender students and could bar them from enrolling in Catholic schools entirely. We released a powerful statement, condemning the attacks and people are taking notice. Already, outlets including the Indianapolis StarThe Advocate, and FOX59 news have featured our response. Other national LGBTQI advocacy groups, like GLAAD, are mobilizing to fight this policy as well.

We can only respond to threats against transgender, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming people like the one in Indianapolis because of the backing of people like you. Our work standing up for LGBTQI justice and inclusion depends on your support. When you give to DignityUSA, you’re empowering and equipping us to respond to injustice wherever it may appear.

Thousands across American are standing up for justice. Will you join them? Give Today.
Thank you for choosing justice and inclusion.
