Leaders of DignityUSA, the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender (GLBT) Catholic group, applauded the February 4 New York State court decision which declared that denying same-sex couples the right to civil marriage violates the state Constitution.  They also called on New York City officials, including Mayor Michael Bloomb

Washington, DC – DignityUSA regrets to announce that our Executive Director, 
Matthew Gallagher, has accepted another position and will be leaving the 
staff of DignityUSA. The Board of Directors has initiated an immediate 
search for a qualified successor. DignityUSA's President, C. Samuel 
Sinnett, will assume the role as our Spokesperson beginning February 5, 2005.
After just 16 months as our Executive Director Matthew will be much missed.
