Online Event: Spirituality of the Gender Expansive Body. On June 13, 8:00pm - 9:15pm ET, poet and former theology teacher Asher Marron will lead us in an exploration of the spirituality of expansiveness, embodiment, and transitions--sacred themes we all encounter throughout our lives. How does the visibility of Nonbinary and Transgender people offer new insights into the power of these realities? We are excited to have you join in what is sure to be a rich conversation!

Asher Marron is a PhD student in poetry at the University of Cincinnati. They hold an MFA from San Francisco State, where they were a William S. Dickey Fellow. Asher’s chapbook, "We were alone together. I forget the rest.", was the winner of the 2020 San Francisco Pandemic Chapbook Contest. Their book, "Unbind(ing)", was published in 2018 through Conviction 2 Change Press. Asher's poetry explores queerness and spirituality, essentially seeking to beatify gender-fluid bodies. They taught Theology at a Catholic high school in the Bay Area for eight years.

Families with Dignity Presents the Inspiring Story of Fr.Mychal Judge. Many people are familiar with the name of Fr. Mychal Judge whose courage during the events of September 11, 2001, has become legendary. Salvatore Sapienza was a personal friend of Fr. Mychal Judge and gave testimony to the Vatican's advocate for his sainthood. Salvatore has researched and studied the story of this brave man and will share this story at our next Families with Dignity meeting on Sunday, June 25.

Dignity chapter and caucus members are invited to join Families with Dignity at 2:00 pm ET on Sunday, June 25, to hear the story of one of the heroes of 9/11.

San Francisco 50th Anniversary Celebration Registration Now Open! Dignity/San Francisco is celebrating its Golden Anniversary with a series of events throughout 2023. The Chapter and DignityUSA invite you to join us for the midpoint of this celebration with a joy-filled and moving weekend July 1-2. Dignity/San Francisco is sponsoring a day-long conference focused on the past, present, and future of our chapter keynote by Fr.
