Since 1995, DignityUSA and our allies have gathered together on Solidarity Sunday, a special event to remember those affected by violence and hate crimes against LGBTQI people and to combat the religious justifications for anti-LGBTQI violence. Since its beginning, hundreds of thousands have joined together for Solidarity Sunday. The annual event has been joined by national organizations like GLAAD and PFLAG. This year we're marking the 25th Anniversary of Solidarity Sunday with an online Interfaith Service featuring an address from our Executive Director, Marianne Duddy-Burke. We'll discuss breaking the chain of violence against LGBTQI people and renew our dedication to justice and peace for all. You can register ahead of time or join us on YouTube at 6pm Eastern this Sunday, October 11th. |
