Synod Draft Responses. Thank you to everyone who sent feedback on the draft Synod report. We received dozens of comments from across the country and as far away as Spain and Australia, with most people complimenting its thoroughness and depth, and expressing hope it would be widely read by bishops and have an impact on church policy. The final draft will be presented to the Board at its August meeting, and the approved version will be sent to the Synod office. We truly appreciate all who took the time to ensure this document represents all of DignityUSA.

Kelly Easter of East Nashville, Tennessee, a single lesbian, recently prevailed in her legal case to participate in a federal foster care program run by a subcontracting agency of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops.
