Dignity Boston Offers Invocation at Boston City Council Meeting. Dignity Boston was honored by the Boston City Council on June 8, 2022, to offer the invocation before its meeting, and was given a resolution passed by the Council honoring the chapter for its 50 years of service to the LGBTQI community and for creating a safe and welcoming place in the church.

Dignity/Washington at D.C. Pride. Congratulations to Dignity/Washington on their participation in the Pride Parade in D.C. and for their amazing outreach efforts at the Pride Festival the following day. They braved the heat and shared the love of God and information about their Catholic LGBTQI Mass and ministry to booth visitors!

Outreach Conference. Board President Meli Barber, Executive Director Marianne Duddy-Burke and Manager of Operations and Mission Services Darby DeJarnette will be representing DignityUSA at the upcoming Outreach Conference to be held in NYC June 24 and 25. Marianne will be participating in a discussion session entitled "Wholeness and Holiness: LGBTQ Issues and Mental Health" on June 25, 3:00pm-4:30pm.

Give Out Day. Give Out Day is coming up on June 30! Please consider donating to help us act locally, regionally, nationally and internationally to support advocacy, education, and community in the face of civil and ecclesial ignorance and injustice. We will not rest until our church and society mirror the face of God in the treatment of all God's children!

Board of Directors Election. All electronic ballots for the Board of Directors election must be cast via the online SurveyMonkey link that was sent to members through the email address they provided. The deadline for voting is June 25, 2022 at 11:45pm ET. All paper ballots must be postmarked by June 17, 2022 to be counted.
