DignityUSA Holds Major National Conference in Chicago

 With Dignity: Purifying Fire, Renewing Spirit as its theme, DignityUSA's 2001 Convention called GLBT Catholics to an examination of the impact our organization has had in over thirty years of seeking full inclusion and acceptance of lesbians, gay men, bisexuals and transgendered persons in the life of the Roman Catholic Church and in our society.

Christian de la Huerta is author of Coming Out Spiritually, and host of a weekly Internet Radio program, "Spirit Wave," on GAYBC.COM. He is also owner of Mercurio Communications, a publicity and promotions firm specializing in gay and lesbian authors as well as the psychology/self-help/spirituality genre. Graduating with honors from Tulane University, Christian holds a degree in Psychology. He has been a seminar leader and group facilitator for the past eight years. As a Certified Rebirther (Breathwork Practitioner) he leads groups and has a private practice which he serves as spiritual coach and counselor.
