PRESIDENT'S LETTER TO MEMBERS

January 19, 2007

Dear DignityUSA Members and Donors,

We have three (3) important and timely announcements to share with you.

  1. DignityUSA Announces New Office Location
  2. Saturday, January 20, 2007:  "Annie's Mailbox," (formerly Dear Ann Landers)
  3. Sunday, February 4, 2007:  DignityUSA national Membership Meeting in Dayton
    OH

1. DignityUSA Announces New Office Location with New Contact Information

DignityUSA President Sam Sinnett announced that effective January 12, 2007, DignityUSA has moved to a new office location in Washington, D.C., that realizes substantial rental savings and more efficient use of shared resources. Please make note of the following changes.

New mailing address:
DignityUSA
PO Box 15373
Washington, DC 20003-0373

New Fax number:
202.543.5511

Unchanged voice phone numbers:
202.861.0017
800.877.8797

Unchanged e-mail address:
info@dignityusa.org

Our new office space is located at Dignity Washington’s Dignity Center, 721-8th St. SE, Washington, D.C., Metro stop:  Eastern Market (Blue-Orange Lines). (We don't have mail delivery at this address, though, so please use the new P.O. box above.)

Sinnett stated, "The move into space in the Dignity/Washington Center at a very preferential rental rate reduces our expenses substantially, and at the same time, provides our Dignity/Washington chapter with additional support for their Dignity Center. We are grateful to Dignity/Washington and all who worked to make this happen. DignityUSA's operations during regular weekday hours and Dignity/Washington's use primarily in the evenings and weekends maximize use of this marvelous space and provide extra security to both offices. This is a win-win situation for both organizations." But, as Sinnett noted, "The operations of DignityUSA are completely separate from those of Dignity/Washington and each will retain current levels of privacy and confidentiality in separate offices."
