Dignity/Dayton member Dick Young and his spouse, Bob Butts, attended the "Nuns on the Bus" event in the Dayton area to show support for the Sisters.

The Sisters recently concluded a multi-state tour during which they spoke at churches, fundraisers, and press conferences about the growing problems caused by poverty. They maintain, as the bishops do, that the US Congress is “further enriching the wealthiest Americans at the expense of struggling, impoverished Americans.” They promote the strengthening of the social safety net, including the Affordable Care Act.
